Today I finish all the first chapter about
the author’s experiences in a concentration camp. To be honest, this makes me
feel very shocked, the author not only described a sickening scene but also
dissects the nature of man. For me, every experience in this book is a lesson,
and I will cherish each one and use it to my fullest advantage. The young woman
who have a simple story in this book give me a deep impression.
It is true that prisoner’s inner self will
be easy to lose when they don’t have any hope or future, the people who lose
their “inner hold” will can’t find the meaning of live. They become
indifference because their life has crushed them, leaving them a corpse walking
around with no heart. But this young woman shock me, as a reader, I have the
right to believe that cruel torture had already destroyed her body and her
spirit had been crushed by hunger. However, she still works hard, laugh often
and always in a cheerful mood. She knew the meaning of “freedom of suffering,”
and she truly understands the meaning of life because in her eyes, the tree has
the eternal life and its green color and vitality symbolize people’s energy,
passion, and hope. The tree gives her the hope of life and encourage her to
through the hard times. When most people missed the destination in their life,
this young woman finds her spiritual pillar and push all her emotion on it; I
believe her rest of life will be wonderful.
When
people live in desperate circumstances, they will be afraid of death in the
first. With the passage of time, they can’t find any hope and become
indifference to life. Finally, most people choose to die even commit suicide.
Only the people who find the meaning of life and switch the suffering to the
test of their life, they can get sublimation of spiritual.
